St. Mary’s, Coity
Introduction
St Mary's Coity has been in existence for almost 700 years and is connected to Coity Castle. There is a weekly Sunday service in the choral tradition, alternating between Holy Communions and Mattins, and a fortnightly Wednesday morning Holy Communion.
With Sunday Club for children every week in term time, at Coity you will find a warm welcome, traditional hymns and sung settings.
As well as a small choir , there is also an active bellringing team which practices on Wednesday evening and rings before Sunday services.
Flower club meet regularly and decorate the church for services , there is also an active Mothers Union membership and Knitters club who meet monthly.
Children
Sunday children's Club is held in Coity Hall every Sunday morning during term time during the main church service. Children of all ages are welcome to attend and parents/grandparents are invited to attend with their children.
On some Sundays the children join the Church service for the Holy Communion.

Located under the shadow of the castle in the beautiful village of Coity.
St Mary's Coity does not have a car park but there is parking available on the roadside in the village.
There is a long path from the gate to the church entrance . The Church hall next to the entrance to the churchyard has toilets but there are no toilet facilities in the church.
Coity Hall is a large hall which currently houses a commercial nursery during weekdays but is available for hire at weekends.
