Who we are
We are a family of eight Bridgend churches worshipping Jesus - in different ways, in different places, and at different times across Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr and the surrounding villages.
We are Anglicans, part of Church in Wales, in the Diocese of Llandaff.
What we believe
What we believe shapes how we live, how we think, and who we become.
We believe in Jesus.
Jesus, who is God the Son. Jesus, who was born to be the Son of Man. Jesus, who died and rose again. Jesus who ascended to heaven. Jesus, who now sends his Spirit. Jesus, who the scriptures reveal.
We believe that to know Jesus is to love him, and that to love him is to have eternal life.
As churches in the Anglican Tradition, we believe that Jesus is revealed in the Bible, that the truth about him is set out in the Catholic Creeds, and that the Anglican formularies bear witness to his true religion.

Penny Williams
LAY READER
Grew up in North Wales. Was nobbled by God in my early teens and was excruciatingly bored in school. After school, left for London, college and excitement. I had a plan for my life. I put God on hold. Plan started to unravel and became what I vowed never to be – a teacher. Returned to Wales and realised that I had come home.Plan unravelled some more and I was nobbled by God again – I gave in!
Now a Lay Reader. Penny preaches and leads worship across our eight communities.
