24 Hours of Prayer

Join us as we host a Ministry Area 24 hours of prayer in St. Illtyd’s, Newcastle

Come for as much or as little as you like, stay for as long as you want, show up any time and leave at any point, but do join with us in worshipping God and devoting ourselves to him through prayer.

  • There are two car parks near to the church and on street parking.

Please be mindful of our neighbours when parking for this event

  • Yes! While St. Illtyd’s doesn’t have toilets, we will be hiring event toilets for the 24 hours to make sure there are facilities throughout the event.

  • We will have drinks and a small supply of snacks (think biscuits and cake) throughout the 24 hours, but no meals will be provided. If you’re thinking of staying for a long time do bring a packed lunch/dinner!

  • We are looking for volunteers to lead our hours of prayer and to support as hosts. Do get in touch with us if you can help on hello@penybont-churches.org.uk

The church will be open throughout the 24 hours with hosts there throughout keeping everyone topped up with refreshments (and safe during the night time hours). They will be on hand to welcome you in and explain what’s happening when you arrive.

Every hour there will be something different happening with the full schedule soon to be available so that you can time your visit to join in with the sessions you’re most interested in.

There will also be prayer stations around the church, so any time you come along you have the option to join in the led session, use the interactive stations to guide your prayers, or enjoy the atmosphere of the church to guide your own personal prayers.

You’re invited.
